Winter Schemes Epilogue

Sara's P.O.V:

So, I'm a married woman with a baby girl growing in my belly. I've been pregnant for five months and I was on cloud 9.

I walked around our house, not knowing what to do. A lot of you are confused right now. They don't really know why and how Abdulrahman is still alive.

Well, Abdulrahman had this winter scheme he'd do every winter. He once spray painted his parent's cars and he once left and didn't contact any of his family members. So he decided that this year's scheme should be more daring and scary.

His actual scheme was to kidnap me but it turned out that there were actually people who wanted to kidnap me. Khalid and Saud really wanted to take me and Abdulrahman helped them just to look after me. He explained to me that he was scared that they'd do something bad to me.

But once he flew me out to Italy, he got the idea that he should act dead just to scare Mi7sen. He told his father and mother that he'll act dead because he wanted to prank mi7sen but at the same time, he didn't want to scare his parents. That's why his mother wanted Mi7sen to go after me when I was still in Milan and he was still in Kuwait.

Mi7sen ended up forgiving Abdulrahman and I forgave him too. But I made him promise me that he'd never do this again. We got back to being best friends. He apologised for everything he's done. I was still angry at him but I couldn't stay mad at him for long.

I got married three months later after Abdulrahman's 'fake' death. Maldives was the first destination point in our honeymoon. I can remember almost everything that happened there. We then went to Florence, even though we promised each other we won't go to Italy. The place was so beautiful and I was glad that we went there. We went to London for a couple of days because he knew how much I love that place.

It was a Thursday which meant that we'd be going to his family's chalet today. The bags were already packed.

Mi7sen arrived an hour later and we were on our way to the shallai. We stopped at Starbucks because I craved their hot chocolate.

"Are you going to want everything you crave?" he laughed.

"Yes," I blushed. "As a matter of fact, meshtahya bared makeena"

"I'll get you bared makeena lama we get to mcdo ily in Bnaider," he chuckled.

Forty five minutes later, we were in front of McDonalds and Mi7sen bought me some ice cream and he got himself one too.

We got to the chalet but his parents were still not here. Abdulrahman was in his honeymoon. He married one of his cousins. He told me that he likes her so I told him why doesn't he just marry her? He thought that it was a great idea and he ended up marrying her last week.

Mi7sen placed the bags in our room. I went out and watched the sun set. Mi7sen came and grabbed my hand and took me tot he beach.

We sat together, mesmerised by the beautiful view in front of us. I laid down because I started to get cramps.

"Marrying you was one of the best decisions I've ever done," I told him.

"Why is that?" he asked, laying down next to me on the beach/

"Because you changed my whole life around," I said, smiling.

"For better or for worse?" he asked.

"What do you think?" I said, turning my head to face him. He looked at me with a smile on his face, he never thought that his Sara would be sitting next to him with a baby bump. All he wanted was Sara, and that is what he got.

The end.

Winter Schemes 25 *Finale*

Please read:

This is sadly the last part of Winter Schemes. I really enjoyed writing this story. I've met a lot of nice, genuine people who make my day with their comment about the story.

I will be writing a epilogue later on today and I'll try to post it tonight or tomorrow morning. I really want to read your thoughts about the story, I don't really mind if they were negative comments, they actually help me when I write the next story!

Enjoy & 3eedkum mbarak xo

Sara's P.O.V:

I finally got discharged from the hospital. Mi7sen's been very kind lately and he's been helping me a lot. He makes everything easier and I'm glad that I've got a person like Mi7sen in my life, unlike Fahad who made my life a living hell in the last few months of our marriage. I can't believe that he actually got married and moved on. He was such a waste of time. I've wasted two full years with him, two years that I should've spent with Mi7sen.

The earliest flight to Kuwait was in two days. I was sad but I had to act happy in front of Mi7sen because he was finally starting to get better. I love the way he's always alarmed when he hears my name, it's like he's scared that something going to happen to me again.

We went back to the apartment after I got discharged. I took a shower and changed into some clean clothes. I've decided to take Mi7sen to the best restaurant in town that serves one of the most delicious pizza's I've ever tasted. Mi7sen was actually impressed with the restaurant and befriended the chef who works there. He actually asked to meet the chef because he was impressed. I got embarrassed for a minute because all the workers that work there know me because my lunch for the last two weeks were in this restaurant. We actually got to know the recipe for the pizza and the chef made us swear to never tell anyone the recipe because if we did, he's the one who's getting blamed. We paid the check and said our goodbyes. I told them that today was the last day they'll be seeing me since I was going back to my home country. They told me how they were glad to meet someone like me and they hope that I'll be coming back soon.

I took Mi7sen to one of the small malls in Milano and we shopped together. I bought him some t-shirts from D&G. Well, he paid but I was the one who picked them for him.

We bought some Gelato and sat in the first empty table we saw. Mi7sen called his mother and told her that he had found me and he explained to her everything. A minute later, he said goodbye and closed the phone.

"Why didn't you tell her that we're coming tomorrow?" I asked.

"Because I don't want to," he smiled.

We walked back home and Mi7sen made sure that I was safe in the apartment. He made sure that I took my meds and made sure that I have everything I need with me.

"Are you sure you're okay? Do you want me to get anything from the supermarket?" He asked.

"No thank you, you've done enough in a day Mi7sen. Go back to your hotel and sleep, look at how your eyes are all puffed up and red." I laughed.

"Are you sure you don't want anything?" he asked.

I pulled him to the door and kicked him out. It was the only possible way that I could find to let him go to his hotel room and sleep. I know he needs it because he looks so tired.

"So your kicking me out?" he chuckled.

"I know you're going to thank me later," I said.

"Good night," we both said in the same time.

I watched him press the button for the elevator. He tapped his feet while waiting for the slow elevator to come up. He was never a patient guy but I'm used to him being like that.

I went back into the apartment and tidied everything up. We'll be leaving tomorrow and I didn't want to forget anything important. I spent a couple of hours packing everything I had. I made myself a hot chocolate and sat on the couch watching one of the shows that was on TV.

It was 12 am and I was really tired so I changed into my pj's and got into bed. I can't wait to get back to Kuwait and live normally. Mi7sen had my passport and I was pleased because if he didn't have it, I'd be stuck in this place until they've brought me my passport in a week or two and I didn't want to spend another second in this country.

.
.
.

I got up the next morning from the sound of someone banging the apartment's door. I got up and wore my furry slippers and looked through the hole. It was mi7sen with a bag of Starbucks in his hand.

"Good morning" I said, opening the door for him.

"You're still asleep?" He asked, amazed.

"Well I didn't get enough sleep so," I laughed.

"I slept like a baby," he said.

"That's because I was a very kind person and sent you home to sleep," I said.

"No you begged me to stay but I told you that I had to go," he said, hiding his smile.

"Stop messing with me," I chuckled and took the bag from his hands. I went to the small kitchen counter and sat on the stool. I got out my cheese croissant and my hot chocolate.

"My favourite," I said, munching on the croissant.

"Bil3afya," he smiled as he sat on the stool in front of me and got out his latte.

"I want your latte," I begged.

"You hate coffee," he said.

"I know but I started to like it ever since I came here," I kept munching on my croissant.

"Take only one sip," he handed me his latte.

I took a sip from his latte. "Another one?" I said with puppy eyes.

"Drink it all if you like, but don't give me your puppy eyes because you know I'll do anything for you," he chuckled.

I took another sip from it and handed it to him.

"I know you can't function without coffee in the morning and I don't want to spend the whole day with an annoying, grumpy Mi7sen," I said.

"Annoying Mi7sen, huh?" He smiled.

"Yeah you're always annoying, to be honest" I hid my smile.

"I will get back at you," he smiled.

A couple of hours later, we went to the airport, checked in, went through security, and boarded the plane. It wasn't so crowded which was kind of relieving. We landed in Kuwait a couple of hours later and we got our suitcases and went to Mi7sen's car. His car was parked in the parking so we didn't have to call anyone to pick us up.

"Tara my mother doesn't know we're in Kuwait" he said.

"Yeah I know," I said. "I like surprises and I bet she'll be surprised."

"Trust me, she will," he said, starting his car.

We opened the radio and there was nothing good playing. He took out one of his old CD's that were in the back.

"Slide this in" he said.

I took it from his hands and put it in it's slot. A song started to play and I automatically knew which this CD was

"Why do you still have this?" I asked.

"I never throw out things that are important to me,"

We arrived at his house. Abdulrahman's car was there and I felt quite uncomfortable. I wasn't used to Abdulrahman not being here.

"What are you going to do with his car?" I asked.

"Wait, how did his car get here in the first place?" he asked. It was 8 am in the morning and the neighbour's drivers were staring at us while they washed the cars.

"Huh?" I was so confused.

"You've got to be kidding me" he smiled a big, toothy smile. "I'm so going to kill him"

"Wait, I don't get it," I said.

He ran to the front door and I ran behind him. His smile never left his face.

"I'm going to kill him" he repeated.

"Kill who?" I asked.

"My baby brother," he laughed.

"Mi7sen it's not really funny to joke about your dead brother," I said.

"It is funny if he's not even dead," He smiled and led me into his parent's house.

We got upstairs and greeted his parents, who were sitting in the table eating their breakfast.

"Wain 7amani?" Mi7sen asked.

"In his room," his mother smiled.

I sat next to his mother as she pulled me closer and hugged me.

I saw Abdulrahman come out of his room with his messy hair. Mi7sen gave him one of his famous hugs where he hugs you until you lose your breath.

He then pinned him to the wall and they started to fight.

"Bas ya shabab tara entaw kebartaw 3ala hal suwalif" their father stated. The stopped fighting and came to the table.

"Hi Sara," 7amani said.

"I am not talking to him," I told mi7sen, hoping that 7amani was listening.

"I'll explain everything to her later," Mi7sen chuckled. "Let's eat breakfast as a proper family first"

We ate breakfast and we started chit-chatting. I don't remember the last time I sat in a table with people who love me. It's a great feeling knowing that there are people who still care about you.

I can finally sleep properly tonight.

Winter Schemes 24

The story is ending shortly and I don't really know how to end it!

Anyways, enjoy and don't forget to tell me what you think!

Sara's P.O.V:

It has been two weeks and still no sign of Mi7sen, Abdulrahman, nor Saud. I'm getting really worried because I have this feeling in my gut that something went wrong. I went to a mall today and bought myself some clothes. I bought some nail polish too because I wanted to feel normal and happy for a minute.

I saw a guy who looked like Fahad today. The difference was that he was more tanned and more fit. His hair was more messier and longer than Fahads usual hair. The Fahad I know looks way better than this one. I went to the nearest cafe and bought a cheese sandwich and bottled orange juice.

While I walked back to my apartment, I started to get dizzy. A couple of minutes later, I realised that I didn't take my meds. I forgot my insulin shot at home and I don't think I could make it in time. I got more dizzy with every step I took. I sat in the nearest bench I found. There weren't a lot of people and I was glad. A man came and sat next to me, I hadn't paid much attention to him. A couple of seconds later, I started to get more dizzy and the only thing I could remember was falling onto the man's shoulder.

Mi7sen's P.O.V:

I couldn't find Khalid anywhere. My brother is dead because of him. I asked everyone about Khalid but no one knew where he was. I even tried to contact Saud but he wouldn't answer. I never thought that he'd take this situation to the next level, I never thought that anyone would actually get harmed. I tried calling Saud but he won't answer and I couldn't tell my parents because I know they'll freak out.

This weird number kept calling me. I don't answer unknown callers so I kept ignoring it. It kept calling and I got fed up so I had to answer.

"Aloo" I said.

"Aloo, Mi7sen?" A man's voice said.

"Na3am? Mino ma3ay? W laish ga3d etdeg 3alai 6oul ilyoum?" I asked. I was furious and not in the mood at all for one of my friend's stupid pranks.

"I know where Sara is, so if you don't shut the hell up you won't know where she it," he said. I know that voice, it sounds so familiar.

"I know it's you Fahad," I said. His voice was so recognisable. His voice had this tone that makes it different and recognisable from all other voices.

"It doesn't matter if you know who I am, but Sara's in the hospital," he said.

"What? Why the hell is she in the hospital? Where the hell is Sara?" I asked.

"Sara's in Italy, Milan to be more precise," he said. "Come as soon as you can, I'll be leaving tomorrow and I'm going to leave her alone if you don't come,"

"Are you threatening me?" I asked.

"Yes, as a matter of fact, I am threatening you," he said.

"Why? Is your wife mad about you spending your time with your ex?" I asked, smirking.

"You don't get to talk about Salma," he said.

"So her name's Salma, what does she look like?" I asked, chuckling. I sensed his anger on the other end of the line. He closed the line the second I said her name. How can he even get married in the middle of this?

I got back home and packed my bags. A few minutes later, my mother entered my room.

"Wain ray7?" she asked, alarmed.

"Basafr shwaya ma3a rab3i" I said, not looking at her. I know that the moment I see her eyes, I'm going to tell her everything.

"La2," she said.

"Na3am?" I asked.

"Gelt lk la2, manta msafer wya rab3k" she said.

"laish?" I asked her. I had to go find Sara.

"Bas, l2anek mu 3ajebni ib hal sbou3ain w ma3aref wain u5ook w ma yred 3ala mobila fa akeed fii shay w galbi na8azni inna 7amani fee shay," she said, looking at me with her big, watery eyes.

I had to tell her because if I didn't, she's going to be so mad at me.

"Yuma, abi agoulich shay, bas lat3a9been 3alai," I said.

I sat next to her on my bed and held her gently while telling her everything I knew. She was more than angry and she was ready to kill me. She started crying. I held her in my arms while she cried. I cried too because it was hard seeing your mother in pain in front of you and you couldn't do anything. She kept crying for minutes and I was speechless and couldn't say anything.

"7abeebi go get Sara," she said, sniffing.

"Bas yuma lail7een ma gelt 7ag uboy 3an Abdulrahman," I said. "W Sara can wait,"

"La 7abeebi rou7 you already lost your brother you can't lose Sara too," she said. Why isn't she mad at me? Why does she want me to leave so badly? I kissed the crown of her head and finish packing my bag. I zipped it up and hugged my mother. She kept reciting Al-Mu3awethat and hugged me hardly before I left.

"Allah y7af'6ek" she said. I could see a small smile forming. Is my mother hiding something from me? I'll find out sooner or later what you've been hiding mom. Trust me, I will find out what she's up to.

I went downstairs and got into my car and went to the airport. I called a friend of mine an hour ago and already told him that I'll be going to Milan on the earliest flight available. He told me that I was very lucky because there were only two seats left and I got one of them.

I checked in and went to the lounge. My plane boards in an hour and I had nothing to do. Fahad sent me the address of the hospital Sara's in and her room number.

I finally boarded the plane and I couldn't wait 'til I see Sara. A couple of hours later, we already landed in Milan and I was ready to go.

I got my bags and left the airport. I found a taxi and gave him the hospital's address.

Less than an hour later, I was already in front of the hospital's large doors with my suitcase in my right hand and my mobile in the other. Before I entered the hospital, I looked to my right and saw Fahad standing about fifty meters away, leaning on a building's wall. He smiled one of his famous smiles and walked away, knowing that Sara is now in good hands.

I entered the hospital and asked about Sara. A male nurse guided me to her room. I thanked him and entered her room.

She was laying down on her bed with her eyes shut. Her face was pale and she looked so tired. I placed my suitcase next to the door and laid down on the couch next to her bed.

I woke up from the sound of Sara's delicate coughs. I turned around and found her smiling at me.

"How long were you awake?" I asked her, rubbing my eyes.

"Not so long," she smiled. "About four hours."

"Four hours?" My eyes got wider as I looked at my watch, realising that I have slept for five hours.

"Yes, you looked so tired and I didn't want to wake you up," she said.

"Oh so you're fake coughs wasn't one of your ways to try to wake me up?" I asked. "I know your tricks Sara so you can't lie to me."

We both laughed, enjoying this short moment.

"Mi7sen, where's Abdulrahman? Where's Fahad? Where's Saud?" she asked with her eyes full of worry.

I got up and sat on the chair next to her bed. I held her cold hands, scared that she won't take this news easily.

"Fahad, allah ysalmich, is married to a woman called Salma. He's the one who brought you here," I said. "And Saud lied to us, he never was on our side."

"How come?" she asked, confused.

"Sara, they killed Abdulrahman" I said.

Her eyes began to tear and she covered her mouth and nose with her tiny hands. She started to weep and I know that there was no possible way that I can stop her. A few minutes later, she started to calm down.

"Wh-why did they kill him?" she asked.

"I don't know Sara, I wanted to find out but Fahad called me saying that you're in the hospital and I told my mom about everything and she told me that I should come and bring you back home" I said.

"So you decide to come to me after three months? Why didn't you look for me three months ago?" she asked. She's beginning to get angry.

"Because Abdulrahman never told me where he took you, he didn't want us to be together. I told him that he should take you to Spain because we have a house there and I knew it'd be safer for you but he decided to go behind my back and take you to Italy," I said, running out of breath.

She took a couple of seconds to digest all the information I've given her.

"Mi7sen," she said.

"Amray," I said.

"Ma yamer 3alaik 3aduu," she replied. "Can I just ask you for one simple thing and you won't say no?"

"I'll do anything for you," I said

"Can you please take me back to Kuwait?" she asked.

"Enshaalah al7een adig 3ala refeeji w agoula yjadem 7ajzna," I told her. "3ad I told my mom that we'll be coming back after two weeks"

"Two weeks?! That's too long w already ta3abt min hal mukan," she said. "I hate this place so much"

"I'll keep in mind that Italy won't be a destination point for our honeymoon," I laughed.

She looked at me with a look in her eyes.

"Sara, I know you can't take this all in, in one day but I have to tell you this," I said, looking at her eyes.

"I've loved you since the first day I've met you. I've been planning to marry you since day one and even my mother knows that," I said. "But Fahad had to marry you and I lost faith in everything. I actually went through a phase where I was ready to kill Fahad so I can marry you" I chuckled. "But after all of this, I realised that you were more than perfect and you made my life easier and now it was my turn to make your life easier."

"You don't have to say anything if you don't want to, and this isn't a proposal. I want to propose to you in the right way so when we get back home my mom will be talking to you shortly," I smiled.

"Bas don't you thing it's early? Your brother just passed away and you're already moving on," she whispered.

"Actually I haven't moved on," I said. "I just don't want you to slip away from my hands just like the first time, I can't afford to loose you again."

"But I want the wedding to be in December," she smiled.

"The love you have for winter is incredible," I said. "I think I'm starting to get jealous"

"You don't have too," she laughed.

We sat there in silence. She was fiddling with her fingers while I sat on the couch with one leg on top of the other.

"It is true that you were out of my sight, Sara, but you were never out of my mind," I told her as I saw her cheeks turn into crimson red.

I finally felt happy. I haven't felt like this for ages and I was relieved that everything was finally starting to get better. Even though 7amani isn't here with us, I will try to live a normal, happy life with Sara and my parents.

Winter Schemes 23

Mi7sen's P.O.V:

I saw Sara leave the place with Abdulrahman. Khalid was still holding the gun to my head and his son, Saud, tried to stop his father from killing me.

"Yuba tkfa esma3ni, tara ana kalamt Mi7sen w gali inna Sara ma3endaha floos! 7awalat'hum kilihum ib isem rayaal thaani," Saud said, trying to hard to convince his father.

"Latkhaleeh yge9 3alaaik s3oud! Tara uhwa ma yabi ma9la7tik bas yabi il bent w yn7aash!" his father replied.

"W inta yuba? Inta shino tabi?" s3oud asked.

"Ana abii il khair lk ya weldi. Laish mu ga3d tefham inna kel ily ga3da asawee lk uhwa elkhair? Ana abeek t3eesh eb raa7a mabeek t3eesh methli 6oul 3omrek! Tara hal 7ayat wayed 5a6ra w a5aaf 3alaik!" his father told him.

"Yuba, shloun tabee ilkhair lyy w tabee et3ayeshni ib flous 7araam? Law ana akhath't flous Sara 3ugb ma nethba7'ha yu3tabar 7araaam. Ana ma awreth minhaa shay law ana il thabe7haa! Tabeeni a3eesh bel thanb 6oul 3omri? Tabeeni awakel murty w 3yaali ib flous 7araam? Shloun terthaha 3ala weldek yuba? W ana weldek ilwa7eed, law 3indik 5ams awlad bedal 5ams banaat, shetsawii? Tethba7 5ams banat '3air Sara?" Saud said.

At that exact moment, Khalid received a phone call. He went to the other living room where we could no longer hear him.

Saud and I kept waiting till he came back. None of us dared to move. I was scared, for the first time, that I was actually going to die any second now and I don't want to die knowing that Sara is mad at me for staying behind.

Khalid came back a couple of minutes later with a big wide smile plastered on his wrinkled face. He seemed pleased.

"Turns out to be that I have a better offer than Sara," he said.

"What does that mean?" I asked. He can't just let me go easily.

"It means that I don't need you anymore. I don't want to see your face, so get out of my house," he said, angrily. "Oh, and fyi, I'm not done with you yet Mi7sen. You'll get your revenge shortly."

I left the place while Saud sat in the chalet with his father. I pitied Saud for having to live with this man his whole entire life.

I tried to call Abdulrahman but he didn't answer. I told him to take Sara to our house in Spain but he's probably in the plane right now. I'll call him later. I've got to get a ticket to Spain as soon as I can.

Sara's P.O.V:

I woke up a couple of hours later. I looked around the place and it seems that I'm in an airplane. How the hell did I get here? Where's Saud? Where's Mi7sen?

I was alone in the plane. I looked around but there wasn't anyone in the seats next to me. I got up slowly. I saw a man in the chair behind me covered with a blanket.

Abdulrahman.

I started to remember everything that had happened. I remembered how I saw Mi7sen with a gun to his head and how 7amani pulled me into the car and drugged me. I remember how we got into this private plane because I woke up when the car stopped which lead to Abdulrahman drugging me again and here I am. Ready to kill Abdulrahman.

I went next to his seat and threw a pillow on him.

"Why did you do that for?" He asked, rubbing his eyes.

I took another pillow and started to hit him harder. "Because you ruined my life why the hell did you do this."

"Sara stop it," he said, trying to stop me.

"I HATE YOU," I screamed. I started to cry and sat in the seat next to his.

He came next to me and put his arms around me.

"DONT TOUCH ME," I started to shout again. He was scared so he went back to his seat.

"Sara please stop crying, it won't solve anything," he said.

"They had Mi7sen at gunpoint and you're sitting here? You didn't even defend him. You didn't even try to save him," I said.

"Saud is going to deal with them. Mi7sen told me not to ask questions and the only thing I am supposed to do is take care of you." he said.

"I don't want you to take care of me," I said. "I wan't you to make sure that Mi7sen is still alive."

"He'll be fine, don't worry about it," he said.

"How can you be so sure? Why aren't you worried about him? Don't you love your brother?" I asked.

"Yes of course I love him. I'm not worried because I know he's going to be fine." he said.

"You can at least tell me where we're going," I said.

"You never asked." he replied.

"I don't have to ask," I told him, annoyed.

"If you don't have to ask then I don't have to tell you either," he said. I can feel his smirk.

"Hfffff Abdulrahman you're getting more annoying by the second," I said, crossing my arms.

"I've been annoying you my whole life, for your information," he said.

"I know that because I ignored you most of the time," I said, smiling. The memories of Abdulrahman and I back in Paris kept coming up in my head. I kept remembering how much fun we had when we used to be best friends.

"I know you're mad at me, but can we please leave this behind us? I swear Mi7sen is going to be all right and he'll come back to you," he said, looking at me.

"But how can you be so sure? How can you be sure that he'll be coming back while he was held at gunpoint hours ago? For all we know, he could be dead by now!" I said. The thought of Mi7sen's death sent shivers down my spine.

"Trust me, Sara, I know he's going to be fine," he said. I think there's another side to this story. The only way Abdulrahman is patient right now is that he knows something that I don't and I'm planning to know the thing he's hiding from me. First comes Saud and tells me the plan but doesn't mention that Mi7sen won't be tagging along, now Abdulrahman acts all tough and reassured when he isn't actually reassured. .

Three months later...

It was beginning to get warmer and I started to wear dresses. I no longer have my hoodies and beanies anymore. All I've got now are summer dresses and sandals. It's been three months since the last time I've seen Mi7sen and Saud. The day I got here, Abdulrahman made sure I was living in a safe place and two months later, he was gone. He didn't even say goodbye, he just slid a note under the door saying that he's never coming back and he kept apoligizing for everything he's done. I was all alone in a place that I don't feel comfortable in. I was scared as hell but I decided to go through this bravely. I couldn't let people sense my discomfort and fear because if they do, they'd use it to their advantage. I surely didn't want anyone to play any games with me anymore.

I was walking down one of Italy's old streets, looking at the people sitting on the chairs enjoying their morning coffee. I saw blonde women with their friends gathered at a corner of a building, smoking their cigarettes and laughing their heads off like they don't have a single thing to worry about. The best part about this country was that everybody had their separate lives and no one can interfere with it.

I kept walking down the street, not knowing where to go. I found a small cafe and the end of the street and decided that I should start my morning drinking my coffee. I've never really liked coffee but after I tasted their coffee, it's the only thing I can think of. I wonder what Mi7sen is doing now, and where Fahad is. Why didn't Abdulrahman call me yet? I've been waiting for ages for someone to find me but it seems that no one really cares. I don't have a passport and I don't have any identification. All I have was the money that Abdulrahman gave me. It was enough for now and he said that I'll find my way because I'm a young, intelligent woman who knows how to overcome a problem.

Mi7sen's P.O.V:

I found out that Sara wasn't in Spain. Abdulrahman had gone behind my back and took her to another country. He says that it'll be better for both Sara and I if we don't see each other. He doesn't want me to get back with Sara and he doesn't want me to marry her because he likes her, too. I told him that it isn't really my fault and I can't choose who I love. I told him that I've loved Sara from the day I met her and there wasn't a day that has passed without me thinking about her. I've tried to find out where he'd hid her but he won't tell me. He said that he'll never tell me where she's at as long as he's alive. Its been a month since the last time I saw him and my parents are starting to get worried. They don't know a single thing and I'm glad that they don't. We'd both get killed by them if they know what we're doing.

I was determined to find Sara. I won't let her go easily just for the sake of my brother. I know he's my brother, but she's Sara. She changed my whole life around and if it wasn't for her, I'd be a messed up man in his twenties without a diploma who still lives off his parent's money because he couldn't finish his studies. Sara taught me everything. She taught me that it was okay if a person had struggles because these struggles make us realise that we were meant to go through them in order to make us happier. These struggles make us realise that we can overcome any problem. These struggles make us happy. Without sadness, how can we feel happiness? I can't give up on her now after all she's been through and all she's done for me. I can't let her go knowing that she's mad at me.. I just can't.

It was a Friday morning and I couldn't sleep. It was four am in the morning and I was wide awake. I've decided to go for a run. That's what I've been doing for the past ten days and I'm enjoying it.

I got into my shorts and wore my Nike t-shirt. I got into my trainers and took a cold water bottle from the fridge. I saw my mother seated in her chair with the Quran in her hands. She was wearing her black Abaya and wore her glasses that were on the tip of her nose.

"7abeebi wain raye7?" my mom asked.

"barou7 amshi shwaya," I said.

"rou7 elbes deshdashtek fog hdoumik w 9al il fayer bil masyad awal," she said. "goum el7ag ubouk tawa 6ale3 gabel dgeegtain,"

"Enshalla yuma," I said, kissing the crown of her head. I ran up the stairs and back into my room. I got out one of my Dishdasha's from my closet and took my clothes off and wore it instead. I wasn't going to wear my dishdasha on top of my clothes because it was uncomfortable.

I took my shorts and t-shirt in my hands and ran down the stairs. I got into my car and went to the mosque and found my father halfway there. He was walking with his stick in his left hand and his water bottle in his right. The mosque was about forty meters away from where my father was standing so I offered him a ride because I didn't want him to walk alone in these dark streets.

I parked my car and helped my father out. I got into the mosque behind my father and greeted my father's friends that were seated inside, waiting for the others to come so they can pray. About half an hour later, I was done with 9alat elfayer so I dropped my father at home and changed back into my t-shirt and shorts and got into my car and went to the mamsha.

The mamsha was usually empty at this time of the day and that is what I like most about it. I can do whatever I want without people staring at me. I walked around the place until I got a very annoying text message with an attachment linked to it. I was so angry I was ready to kill anyone that'll come in my way.

I will kill you Khalid. I will kill you for killing my baby brother.

Two years later..

"Marrying you was one of the best decisions I've ever done," Sara told him.

"Why is that?" he asked, laying down next to her on the beach.

"Because you changed my whole life around," she said, smiling.

"For better or for worse?" he asked.

"What do you think?" she said, turning her head to face him. He looked at her with a smile on his face, he never thought that he'd Sara would be sitting next to him with a baby bump. All he wanted was Sara, and that is what he got.

Two years before...

Sara's P.O.V:

I got up the next morning and had a really huge migraine. I want someone to cut off my head, I can't bear the pain I'm in. I got up slowly and knocked on the door. Saud told me yesterday that if I ever needed anything, I'd softly knock the door to let him know.

A couple of seconds later, Saud came with really messy hair.

"What do you want?" he asked, yawning.

"I need to use the bathroom," I said.

"There isn't anyone in the house, so if you want to walk around, you're free to do so," he said, going back to what seemed to be his room. "Oh, and the bathroom is the second door to your right."

I got into the bathroom and locked the door behind me. I looked around and I think this bathroom belongs to a woman. I wonder if Saud had a sister I didn't know about.

I took a shower and changed into the clothes I had in my bag when I was first kidnapped. I've been in the same clothes for god knows how long and I can feel them rot. I like being clean and whenever I've been given a chance to shower, I'll do it right away.

I put my old clothes in a plastic bag and threw it in my bag. I got out and threw my bag back into the room and went downstairs. The place was beautifully decorated. The walls were filled with golden floral wallpaper that was so mesmerising and the decor of the living room was so cozy.

I was wearing a pair of leggings and my hoodie and had my hair tied up into a ponytail and a couple of strands fell out because of my bangs. My hair actually grew a few centimetres longer in the past month and I was so glad.

I opened up the fridge and got out some milk I heated it and looked for something edible. I found a bag of marshmallows and some coco powder and decided to make me some hot chocolate. Saud came down with his half-closed slouchy eyes and messy hair. He has his laptop and his phone in his hands.

I sat on the couch in the living room and started to drink my hot chocolate.

"Good morning," he said, making his way to the couch next to me.

"Good morning to you too," I told him. "Do you want some hot chocolate? I make the best hot coco you'll ever taste in your life!"

"Sure, why not?" He said, smilin. I got up and poured the rest of the milk into the mug and added some marshmallows to it. I went back and handed the mug to him and continued drinking my milk.

"You have to tell me your secret," he said after drinking a few sips of the hot coco. "This tastes like heaven!"

"Thank you, there's no secret, you just have to put the right amount of sugar!" I smiled.

"Al7een, we have to talk about the plan," he said.

"What are we going to do? How am I going to get out min ehnee bedoun ma ahalik e3arfoun innik msa3edni?" I asked.

"Leave that part to me, I'll talk to Mi7sen and everything. I just need you to be ready in 4 days." he said.

"What do you mean ready?" I asked.

"I mean that you have to pack the bag you've got with you because after four days, you'll be leaving this place." he told me.

"Can you at least tell me the plan?" I asked.

"You really don't want to know it," he said. His face didn't look well. He was keeping a secret but I didn't know what it was. "You need to go upstairs now, my father's men are going to walk through that door any second now."

I heard a car pull up outside. I ran up the stairs, limping. My body hurts so badly and with every step I took, the more painful it got.

Mi7sen's P.O.V:

I was laying down on my bed thinking of Sara. I can't imagine what she's going through right now. I received a call from an unknown number. It kept calling and calling but I don't answer numbers I don't know. Saud later on called me and told me the whole plan. I was so devastated when I heard what I had to do. Sara is going to be so mad if she finds out, so I told Saud to not tell her about anything because if she knew the real plan, she wouldn't agree on it.

Four days later..

Sara's P.O.V:

I had all of my stuff packed and ready. I left my bag next to the door. Saud was awake and he told me to be ready because any second now, Mi7sen is coming to take me. Saud refused to tell me anything about the plan and I'm kind of worried because I can sense his discomfort.

I kept pacing around the room. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked terrible. I haven't really eaten a decent thing for over a month now and my bones are starting to show which is scary, to be honest. I'm a woman who likes to be full and not stick-thin. I saw my faded bruise on my stomach. I traced it gently. A few seconds later, Saud came banging on my door.

"SARA BSIR3A GET YOUR BAG AND GO TO THE CAR," he said.

I grabbed my bag and ran down the stairs. I went to the main door and passed the living room. I saw Mi7sen on his knees and a gun to his head. I stopped for a second, not knowing what to do.

"GO Sara leave this place," Mi7sen yelled. The man hit Mi7sen's head with the gun. I flinched a little.

"B-but" I said. I was pulled by someone to the door. I kept kicking him, wanting to go back to Mi7sen. I couldn't leave him here. They might kill him.

I was placed into the same car I was first kidnapped in. A masked person covered both my mouth and nose with a cloth that made me feel dizzy. I slowly started to blink. He unmasked his face and stared at me. I tried so hard to keep my eyelids open but I felt so weak, I had to close them. The minute I open my eyes, I'm going to have a very very long talk with Abdulrahman. He's the one who got me into this mess.
