Winter Schemes 21

I hope it's long enough this time x

Enjoy!

Four weeks later...

Mi7sen's P.O.V:

Fahad and I didn't go with the plan we had three weeks ago.  I found out that there was more to the story. Khalid actually wanted Sara's money-- not Sara as a 'wife' for his son. The only way to do that is if Sara married Saud and died after it so he can take all her money. Since Sara is an only child with deceased parents, she is a wealthy twenty three year old. She has more money than she is supposed to have in her age. To be honest, I think she even has more than I do.

It's been four weeks and we still don't know what to do. I kept wondering if I should talk to Abdulrahman and see what's going on. He's leaving the house more than twice a day and doesn't come back only until after its midnight. He leaves early in the morning and comes back late at night. There are days where he comes and eats lunch with us, just to respect my father. He doesn't want to upset my father.

I got out my keys and went to the supermarket. I needed to buy some things because I'll be staying at the chalet in the next couple of days. Bnaider will always be my escape from the world and I really want to take a break for a while. Everything's getting hectic and I can't take it anymore. I've tried so hard to get her back but I'm failing to do so.

I bought some food and a couple of Coke glass bottles and put them in the basket. They've always tasted better than the tin ones. I went and got me some ice cream. I took everything that caught my eye.

I went to the cashier and took out my wallet from my back pocket. I noticed the cigarette packs on the counter. I was tempted to take a packet and smoke it all on my way to Bnaider, but my mind told me not to. I knew Sara would be angry if she knew I was back to smoking.

I went to my car and loaded all the bags in the back seat. I switched the car on and went back home to switch cars and get my duffel bag from my room.

.
.
.

I walked up to my room and collected all of my things. I already told my mother that I was going to the chalet and she was fine with it. She told me to take care and to drive safely because there are a lot of crazy drivers on the long highways of Kuwait.

I went down the stairs and got into my Raptor. I plugged my iPod into the aux and played some music. I read Du3a2 al rukoob and backed my car and went to the chalet.

I got into the chalet and threw my bags on the end of the stairs. I entered my bedroom and threw myself on the bed. I was just about to close my eyes when I got a call from an unknown number.

I wonder who would it be.

Sara's P.O.V:

I opened my eyes two hours ago. I've been counting the minutes but no one has checked up on me. I wasn't in a hospital, I was in the same exact room I was in before. How long was I in a coma? I know I was in one because I can feel it. I can feel all the things I've missed.

I can't move a thing in my body. I feel paralysed. The only thing that I can move is my finger. Two minutes later, a figure entered the room, giving me his back.

He approached me with a needle on his hand. Once he sat down on the stool next to the bed, he looked at me and realised that I was awake. His facial expressions changed from a neutral one, to a happier one. It's like he was pleased that I was awake.

He quickly got up from his seat and scurried to the door. He called for a person, who seems to be named "Bu s3oud"

A couple of seconds later an old man, probably in his late fifties, entered. The man with a needle in his hand stood next to him.

"She's awake," he said, "and healthier than before."

"I can see that," The old man said, with a smirk on his face. "Little Sara is awake."

"I just need to give her the insulin shots, and she's all yours," the man said.

He came next to me and injected it into my stomach. I can see a man, probably in his twenties, standing next to the door. He had the saddest eyes ever.

I winced in pain because the man purposely injected it hardly.

"Y-y-you d-didn't have t-t-to do t-that" I said.

"I wanted to," he said smirking. He got up, threw the needle and the mini bottle into the bin and left the room, closing the door behind him.

The old man approached me and sat on the stool next to me.

"So Sara, tell me about yourself," he said, with a smile.

"T-There's nothing much t-to say," I said. "I'm j-just a t-twenty t-three year old who's living a miserable life and has been kidnapped."

"Oh no, we didn't kidnap you! We just wanted you to marry my son, Saud," he said, pointing at the man with the sad eyes sitting in the back of the room.

"B-but I'm already married," I said, confused.

"No, actually you are a divorced woman," he said, with a smirk.

He got up and whispered something to his son. He left the room and Saud was still sitting in the same place. I started to cry silently. I never thought that Fahad would actually do that without fighting for me.

He got up and sat on the stool next to me. I didn't even look at him because I didn't want to. I wished that Abdulrahman was here. I'd rather sit with him than spend time with this guy.
"Why are you crying," he asked, coldly.

I kept crying, this time, it was harder. He shook his head.

I kept crying for five minutes until he got a box of tissue and handed it to me.

"I can't move my body, it hurts" I said, crying.

He took a piece of tissue and wiped the tears that were on my face.

"Can you tell me why are you crying exactly?" he asked.

"What is there not to cry about? Do you know what I've been through? Do you know all the things I've done to people and how I was rewarded? I don't deserve all of this, I should be living a better life." I said.

"Trust me, you haven't been through half of what I've been through," he told me. "My father is forcing me to get married to you just so he can take your money. I love another person and I can't get married to her."

"Oh really? You call that going through a lot. You haven't heard my story." I told him

"Then let's here it," he said. "Prove to me that you've been through is more than what I've been through."

"It's a long story," I said.

"And I've got time," he told me.

"Well, here it goes.." I said, telling him my whole story.

I told him everything. Every single detail. From the day I was in an accident with my parents till this unfortunate day. How I've never gotten what I wanted. How my life was unfair. How I got divorced and my husband didn't even fight for me. How I was unlucky. How I've never had a happy point in my life.

"Turns out that you have been through more than what I have been through," he said, chuckling.

"Told you so," I said, smiling softly.

"So Abdulrahman is Mi7sen's brother and both of them love you?" he asked.

"Mi7sen and I were practically dating when we were in Paris studying but Abdulrahman was a brother to me, and he knew how I felt about him so I never really understood why he decided to tell me this," I said. I found a piece of chocolate on the counter next to me. I extended my arm slowly and grabbed it. I unwrapped it and ate it.

"But why would Abdulrahman bring you here if you know each other? What got him to turn on you?" he asked.

"I think you should ask him that question," I told him, looking at the ceiling.

"I think I can help you get out of this mess," Saud suddenly said.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"I am willing to help you get away from this mess and go to Mi7sen. But if I do help you, you have to promise me that you won't come back to Kuwait a year after you run away." he said.

"Are you joking?" I said. "Why on earth would you want to help your enemy?"

"First of all, I'm not your enemy. Second of all, I want to get out of this mess more than you want to, so the only way I can if you no longer existed." he said.

"Well if you want to help me, let me call Mi7sen first." I said.

He got out his phone out and gave it to me. I thought he was just messing with me but it turns out that he actually wants to help me.8 I dialled in Mi7sen's number but he would answer. A couple of seconds later, just a second before I was going to hang up, I heard him say hello with his sleepy voice.

"Miss me?" I asked.

"SARA?" he sounded alarmed.

"Yes, the one and only," I said, laughing.

"HOW THE HECK ARE YOU CALLING ME? IS ABDULRAHMAN NEXT TO YOU?!" he said.

"Calm down, calm down, everything's okay. No, he isn't next to me but I really want to strangle that neck of his. I'm in a place I don't know where exactly. A guy named Saud is willing to help me and that is how I'm calling you right now," I said.

"Okay, can you tell me where you are? What are we going to do exactly," he asked.

"Im not really sure, I'll call you tomorrow morning to tell you the plan. I want you to tell Fahad because I think we'll be needing an extra pair of hands," I said.

"Uhm- Sara I don't know what to tell you," he said.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked. "Did anything happen to Fahad?"

"Fahad got married last week and he's in his honey moon," Mi7sen said.

MARRIED? Honeymoon?

"What do you mean he got married?" I asked.

"He got married to a woman and they're on their honeymoon right now in Bora Bora," he told me.

"BORA BORA? When I told him I wanted to go there for our honeymoon, he didn't even talk to me in a week," I said, breaking down.

"Shh Sara don't cry he isn't worth your tears," he told me.

"I'm not crying because of that, I'm crying because he left me while I was kidnapped do you know what that even feels like? T5ayal law we were married and you were kidnapped and we were divorced at that time and I get married the same second?" I said, crying.

"Sara, I didn't understand a thing you said, you were talking too fast. How about you lay down and relax and we can talk tomorrow morning," he said. "Don't forget to take your insulin"

"You still remember," I said, smiling.

"Of course I do. I was the one who used to call you every night in Paris to make sure you took them." he said, chuckling.

"Good night," I said.

"Sweet dreams," he replied. I could feel his smile from the other side of the phone.

I can't wait 'til I see that smile again.

Mi7sen's P.O.V:

I went back home and greeted my mother with a kiss. She was drinking her tea and watching a Turkish TV series. I sat down next to her on the couch but she was too engrossed to the point where I know she'd try to shut me up if I talk to her. I got up and went to my room. On my way, I saw Abdulrahman in his room packing his things.

"Wain raye7?" I asked him.

"Uhm- barou7 shallaih rab3i" he said, hesitatingly.

"Tadri inna Sara w Fahad are divorced? " I asked as I paid close attention to his expression. I wanted to know what he was up to and why does he have Sara. I'm still not completely sure that he's the one who took her but I've got a feeling he is the one. But why on earth would he kidnap her?

"Laish they got divorced? Don't the like each other?" He asked, looking at me with an unreadable face.

"Madri bas sa2alt Fahad w gali inna it wasn't working out plus he told me that she still loves me," I told him. I can see his face turning into a reddish color. He was mad. But why should he be mad? He doesn't love her the way I do and she considers him as a brother and vice versa.

"Shloun et3aref Fahad?" he asked. Busted.

"Ma3aay bil gym," I lied. A white lie won't hurt that much, will it?

He looked at me not convinced at all. But he decided to drop it by shutting the door in my face. I shook my head and walked to my room. I threw my bag on the marble floor and laid down on my warm, very comfortable, bed.

I closed my eyes for a second and thought how Fahad was related to the kidnapping of Sara and how is Abdulrahman related too. I never thought 7amani would get into the same mess I got into.

He isn't like that, he's more innocent than I am. He's more of a mama's boy not the bad boy that every girl should stay away from. He was always the loved one in the family and he never got shouted at from my father. Well only after he pulled those pranks a couple of years ago, he got what he deserved.

I got out all of my stuff I have on Khalid and his son Saud. I knew where Sara is imprisoned now but I don't know exactly why they want her. It couldn't be possibly because they still want her to get married to Saud. I don't blame them for wanted her for their son. She's too beautiful for this world.

I packed all of my things I needed and headed to my car. I kissed my mother's forehead who was now talking to my Aunt on the phone, gossiping about last week's wedding and how beautiful the place was decorated.

I got into  my car and went to Fahad's house. In about twenty minutes, Sara's car was already under the shade and turned off. I found the door open so I let myself in and greeted Fahad who was sitting on the couch eating an apple.

"Did you find anything?" Fahad asked.

"Yes, a lot actually but I also got a glimpse of my brother today, he seems weird," I said, taking a seat in the nearest couch. My back is starting to ache and I really needed to lie down for a couple of minutes.

"Did you tell him anything? Perhaps ask him why did he kidnap Sara?" Fahad said, setting his piece of apple on the glass table. There were bits and pieces of torn paper on the floor.

"I'm still not sure Fahad if he was the one who kidnapped her. I just can't go up to him and literally ask him if he stole Sara or not, it's really not a normal thing to ask your brother if he stole someone," I told him.

"Well, if you won't ask him then I will," he said.

"No- No, just don't do that it'll be the most stupidest thing you'll ever do," I said. "I'll ask him, just give me some time"

"We don't have time, that's the problem. Sara might be dead now, we haven't heard anything from her. It's been two weeks since the last time I heard her voice and I'm getting a feeling that I won't hear it anytime soon if you sit their on the couch all day," Fahad complained.

"I'm trying to figure out a plan but you are disturbing me with every sound wave that has entered my ear" I told him.

He sat in his place in silence while I got up and took out all the information I've got on Khalid and Saud. They were two Mafia men in Kuwait who were known for their killings. They'd kill anyone who gets in their way, even if the person they killed was one of their loved ones. They have this motto that business is more important than anything and they'd always keep it first, before anyone. It's like being part of the mafia is their family.

I started to read all the paper's I've got. I highlighted the most important things. I wrote down everything that I had to know. I think I can get Sara out of this mess. I need Fahad's help in this plan because I can't do it alone. I'd get killed.

Sara's P.O.V:

I heard muffled voices all around me. I tried to open my eyes but nothing really happened. The only shade I could see was black. My back ached, I can feel my heart pumping blood, I can feel my stomach making weird noises. I can feel people all around me, hovering. I can feel a hand making it's way into my hand. It tightened its grip into mine and I knew who it was. Abdulrahman.

I wanted to open my eyes. I needed to open my eyes but I couldn't. I secretly know that being in a coma is the only way I could get out of this mess. I didn't want to return to misery I was in. It's better staying this way, knowing that nothing was going to bother me ever again and I'm not planning to return until I feel its time.

Fahad's P.O.V:

Mi7sen explained to me the whole plan. He wanted to get Sara back no matter what happens. He took out some blue prints of the house Sara was in. He told me which door should we enter first, the colour of the clothes we were supposed to wear. He told me every detail I needed to know about what we were going to do next week in order to get Sara back alive.

I just hope that we'll get out alive, too.

What if?

I wrote this in my old blog a couple of month ago and I thought that I should re-post it here since I deleted the old blog. Tell me what you think!

-

What if the cure for cancer is trapped inside the mind of someone who can’t afford an education?

Haven't you ever wondered if there was an actual cure for cancer? Thousands of people die every year because of cancer. Children spent their childhood in hospitals instead of playgrounds. Teenagers spent their teenage years in hospitals instead of walking around the malls with their friends. Women spent their lives in the hospital instead of going to stores to buy a new pair of jeans. Men spent their lives in hospitals instead of taking their children to a baseball game.

What if an un-educated girl or boy had the cure of cancer? Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, Eritrea, Central African Republic, Niger, Sierra Leone, Malawi, and Togo are the top ten poorest countries in the world. Ten countries with over five million people who can't afford an education. Every person in this world has the right to education. It isn't fair that certain children go to school and others don't. Every child should have the right to go to school and get proper education.

A young boy, who is rich, goes to a school where he bribes his teachers to get higher grades. That same young boy grows up to be an engineer or just another accountant. A young boy who is poor and can't afford an education, lives off the few dollars his father earns in a day for his family that consists of five girls and five boys,  would turn out to be a biologist who studies the human body, cells, and so on and can find that one piece of information that can help in the search for the cure for cancer. What if that poor child was able to go to school and study all of the things normal people studied? What if that young boy was the cure for cancer?

Haven't you ever wondered what the reaction of a young girl would be if you told her that they've found the cure of cancer? Haven't you ever wondered what'd she do if she found out that she'll no longer be suffering from the pain of chemotherapy and radiotherapy? Haven't you wondered how wide her smile would be like?

All I want to say is that people should start thanking God for the things God gave us and the state we're in. Many people don't have houses and can't find shelter. Many children live in tents instead of a huge mansion. Instead of drinking milkshakes, lattes, and hot chocolates, they're drinking out of a puddle of water on the ground. That puddle of water may carry diseases which would kill any person. A person dies every single day with different reasons. Everybody has a story of their own with a beginning and an ending. We all know what our beginning is, but do you know what our ending is?

People have to start realising that they might die any second now. Don't waste your time doing something that you'll regret later. You have to think before doing anything. You might decide to do your homework in school because you don't know how to do it then blame your teacher for not showing you how. It isn't the teacher's fault that you aren't paying attention in class. If you don't know how to answer a question, go back to your lesson and reread what's in it and at least try to answer some of the questions. If you don't know how to answer some of the questions, you could pay a visit to your teacher in your free time in school and ask him to explain that part only, not the whole lesson. You're not going to lose anything if you just try.

It was mentioned in the Holy Quran that God gave us everything we wanted. He gave us food, shelter, and minds to think with. However, many people don't thank God for the things he gives us. We need to thank God for everything he has given us because the state you are currently living in might be better than the people in Syria, Palestine, and Egypt. I hope one day everyone learns how to thank God and we can finally live in peace.

I kept waiting for her but she never came. It's 10 p.m. and she's still not home. I was hungry and I gave up on waiting for Sara. I know she wouldn't come. I went to a restaurant with a friend of mine. As I sat in my seat, I saw Sara with a couple of friends. I decided to text her.

Hey, why aren't you home? It's late.

I saw her get her phone out of her bag. Her laugh faded away when she saw my text. I saw her while she typed.

Who's this?

Ma38oula she deleted my number?

You deleted my number?

I asked her. She didn't reply. I looked at her from the other side of the restaurant while she put her phone in her bag. She excused herself and left the restaurant. I told my friend that I had to go and he was pretty mad because I had to leave. I promised him we'll catch up another day.

I walked out the restaurant and followed Sara home. She was walking with confidence and she wasn't the old Sara. This Sara is different. A group of drunk guys came up to her and started bothering her. I was about to beat them up when I was surprised that Sara kicked them both and they both fell into flour, wincing in pain.

She continued her way and I was still walking behind her. Ten minutes later, we were in front of her apartment. When she got the keys out of her bag, her phone fell on the cold pavement. I picked it up and gave it to her.

Her face got paler that it already was. Her mouth formed an O shape and she didn't speak a word. I wanted to hear her voice, the voice that made my ears dance with excitement. She didn't say a thing, not even a single hello. She just turned around and fumbled with the keys. A minute later, she opened the front door and entered and locked it behind her. It was a glass door and I could see her walk up to the stairs and sit on the first step. I stood outside in the cold, shivering. She had her head in between her tiny hands.

"Let me in," I said, banging on the door. She was in the lobby of her apartment. On her left were the mailboxes and on her right was the empty concierge desk.

She got up and started to walk up the stairs. I banged harder until she stopped. She came back down and opened the door.

"Sara, I'm sorry for what I did last-" I said, but was cut off by her stunning words.

"Leave mi7sen, I don't want to ever see you again, and don't come back because I already love somebody else," she said and went upstairs to her apartment.

-

"So, Mi7sen, please introduce me to this young fellow next to you," Dmitry said with a smile.

"This is Fahad, Sara's husband," I told him.

"Nice to meet you," Dmitry told Fahad with a smile on his face that was automatically fading once he saw the bracelet Fahad was wearing.

"Like wise," Fahad told Dmitry with a soft smile.

"You never told me that Sara was married," Dmitry said.

"Because she wasn't married at that time, but that's not the point. You have to help me get her back because you are the the only one who could help me," I told him.

"You are wrong my son, I'm not the only one in this room that can help you," Dmitry said, looking at Fahad with one eyebrow up. "That man knows where Sara is, but he doesn't know it yet."

"What do you mean?" Fahad asked Dmitry.

"Where did you get that bracelet? The one in your hand?" Dmitry asked Fahad.

"My brother gave it to me a year ago as a birthday gift. He told me that it meant a lot to him so he gave it to me," Fahad said, confused.

"Mi7sen, do you remember the man who knew Sara's father? The one who wanted Sara to marry his son?" Dmitry said, forgetting his name.

"Khalid?" Mis7en said.

"Yes, yes, Khalid. He's got Sara." Dmitry said. "I think he's planning on taking her for his son.

"But she can't marry him, she's already married to Fahad," Mi7sen said, banging the wooden desk with his clenched hand.

"Uhm- not anymore" Fahad said, hesitantly.

"What do you mean?" Mi7sen turned his head to Fahad.

"I signed the divorce papers yesterday. Sara's single." Fahad said.

"You boys got yourselves into big trouble. I think I can't help you this time Mi7sen, Khalid is a killer and he won't mind killing you both and killing Sara after his son gets bored with her." Dmitry said. "But I can tell you one thing, Khalid is expecting you two to come after him, and don't ask me how I know that."

Fahad's P.O.V:

I followed Mi7sen to his car. I feel like all of this is just a dream that I can't wake up from. I'm waiting for my alarm to ring so I can go to work but nothing was happening. I guess it isn't a dream after all.

I got into the car and started and Mi7sen rode next to me.

"Drop me off home," Mi7sen said.

"What about Sara? What are we going to do about her?" I asked.

"I'll come to you later today and discuss it with you," Mi7sen said.

"You don't have a car," I told him.

"I have Sara's car, I'll bring it back here," he said.

I opened up the radio and plugged my iPod to the aux. I played some of majeed's songs, Sara's favourite singer.

-

Flashback

It was the second day of our honey moon. Sara was sleeping on the couch in the living room and I was laying on the bed. She wouldn't sit in the same room I was in and she wouldn't speak to me. I never talked to her except when we were kids.

I got up and took a quick shower. My mother called and asked me how my honeymoon was. My sister then called me. She loved Sara so much, they were practically best friends. She asked me if I could put Sara on the phone but I told her to call her on her on mobile instead.

I sat on the counter facing Sara's back. She was so engrossed into the phone call that she didn't hear me walk in and sit on the stool.

"Umbaay Dalaaal ta5ayalay I saw an oscar de la renta dress ams ou 7ad'ha 7ilwaa it was silk ou its printed ou it goes with everything. I've even got the right pair of heels to match!" She told my sister.

"Eeee I saw that dress I bought it. 9ijj inna they're aren't any weddings in couple of few months bas the dress was so beautiful I couldn't not-buy it," she laughed. "eee I'll send a pic now let me try it on ou I'll take a pic 9aber I'm gonna put you on speaker"

She went and took out a big puffy dress and tried it on. Of course I looked away. She still didn't realise I was sitting on the stool.

She looked beautiful in the dress. With a messy bun and no makeup on, she is still beautiful. Wait, Fahad what are you saying? You can't love her. You can't think she's beautiful. After all, I'm planning on divorcing her in two years tops.

She took a picture of herself and sent it to Dalal.

"YAL KALBAA SHAKLECH 7AIL ESHAAWEG!" Dalal screamed into the phone.

"Dalal tara mu lazem et9ar5een tara Sara tegdar tesme3ech" I chuckled.

Sara turned around and saw me sitting on the stool. She quickly took her clothes and went to the bathroom and shut the doors behind her.

I ate an apple and got out the clothes I was going to wear today. I actually ironed them and hanged them in the closet. I took a shower and wore my clothes.

I went out to the living room and saw Sara applying makeup.

"Wain betrou7een?" I asked.

"It's not like you care," she told me.

Exactly. Why do I care?

"La bas 3alashan etha uboy edig 3alai, a3aref shino agoula" I said.

"Ba6la3 with a friend of mine for breakfast," she told me. She grabbed her bag and left.

I was walking behind her. She met a man who looked about her age and hugged him. She went into the restaurant and sat on the table.

Seriously Sara? You're married and you go hug a man? I didn't think you'd actually be one of those girls.

A couple of days went by and we were now in Maldives. Sara was forced to sleep next to me because there wasn't any extra beds nor a sofa since it was a honeymoon suit plus all the other rooms were occupied.

Until one day I found her laying on the sand in her swimsuit crying.

"Why are you crying?" I asked her. I haven't heard her voice in a week.

"Why do you even care?" She asked, sniffing.

"Because I do," I told her.

"No you don't, you just want to find a reason to laugh at me," she told me.

"No I do care," I told her.

"No you DONT! Don't look at me that way. Don't look at me with pity in your eyes. You ruined my whole life. I was forced into marrying the person I don't even like a bit. I'm forced to live with you my whole life. I was supposed to have a future but you ruined it. I want to have children with a man I love not you. I was supposed to marry someone who loves me who loves my flaws who loves me for who I am and here I am in the place I wanted my honeymoon to be in with the wrong man. I wish I ran away the minute I knew I was going to marry you," She told me.

"Ullaa ulla tara ana ma sawaitlich shay! Laish chithii tekreheeni?" I asked.

"L2anek 5arabt 7ayatee" she told me, look up at me.

"Wa 3asa takrahuu shay2 wahuwa 5air lakum" I told her.

We sat there in silence.

"Let's make a deal." I told her. "Let's try to love each other. Let's make this work. We are married so anything we do is okay. You can take your time we don't have to rush anything."

"Okay, but you can't force me to do anything," she told me.

"Deal." I told her. "You know, there are perks for loving me," I smirked at her.

"Oh yeah?" she told me. "What are they?"

I got on top of her and started tickling her. She started to laugh so hardly and begged me to stop.

That was the moment I fell in love with Sara.

-

A lot of people wanted Sara and Fahad and this was the only way I could do it. I promise you, no more flashbacks about silly things:p

Sara's P.O.V:

It's been five days and Im in the same bed I've been in. I only eat the food I have and I'm trying not to finish what I have because I know no one is going to give me any food because no one has checked up on me.

My body started to ache and I started to feel dizzy this morning. I didn't find any of my insulin which means I can die any minute now because those insulin bottles are what are keeping me alive.

I got up and ate another piece of Sara Lee cake. I drank my last bottle of orange juice and laid back down on the bed. I started to stare at the ceiling not knowing what to do.

A couple of seconds later, I heard a couple of murmurs from outside the door. I got up slowly and made my way to the door silently. I tried to listen to what they were saying but the sound was muffled.

I started to pace around the room. I waited and waited but still nothing changed. They were still talking. I walked over to the door and started banging on it.

"What?!" An unfamiliar voice said opening the door.

"May I know why you people kidnapped me?" I asked.

"Shfeech entay mat3arfeen eta7achain 3arabi? 9ij rabya ib dawla ajnabiya" the same man laughed and looked over his friend who joined in his laughter.

"Enzain ana laish hnii? Wain abdulrahman?" I asked, looking behind the two guys but couldn't find anything.

"Abdulrahman mu mawjood, ou entay hnii l2ana e7na nabeech hni" he replied.

"Abi akalem-" I said but I stopped because I got dizzy.

I tried to grab anything next to me but there wasn't anything so I lost my balanced and fell. I felt two arms grabbing me from the waist but I couldn't figure out who those two arms belong to.

Mi7sen's P.O.V:

I explained to Fahad how to get to Dmitry's place. Dmitry is the russian guy who I used to work for before I met Sara. None of my family know about him and that I used to work for him. I needed money when I started University and the only way I could get it was if I worked for Dmitry. I only had to deliver some boxes to places without getting caught. Every box was worth ten thousand Kuwaiti Dinars.

I later then knew that Dmitry knew Sara's father and they were enemies. Dmitry was the head and Nikita was his partner. They worked together for about twenty years however Dmitry had more power than Nikita. The third russian was Sergei. They never really liked him but they had no choice since he was a billionaire, and they loved money.

We got to Dmitry's mansion in thirty minutes. We got pass his security guards, thanks to me, and parked Fahad's Range Rover in Dmitry's garage. The garage was filled with fancy cars from a silver Aston Martin one-77 to matte black Bugatti Veyron.

We got out and went to the lift. I knew the way to Dmitry's house so I know exactly where to go. Two security guards followed us while we roamed the house just to make sure we don't do anything stupid. I was standing in front of Dmitry's office. I knocked the door twice and got in, followed by Fahad.

"Well well well, look who's standing in front of me" Dmitry laughed and stood up. "it's nice to see you again." He said and shook my hand. "What brings you here son?"

"Dmitry, you look younger than the last time I saw you!" I played back. "How much did it took you to cover up that ugly scar that was across your cheek?"

"Faster than it took you to tell your crush you loved her," he said. "Do you guys still love eachother?" he added. "What was her name? Sara is it?"

"Yes, Dmitry, her name is Sara," I said, getting to the point. "I want you to help me get her back,"

"Sit, please" Dmitry said with his thick Russian accent. "What do you mean get her back? Where is she?"

"She was kidnapped a couple of days ago and I really want her back" I said.

"Why should I help you?" Dmitry said. "the last time you helped me, you got caught and I lost over ten thousand dollars."

"Oh so that was what was in the boxes I delivered?" I said, with a smirk.

"Trust me, it was more than that" Dmitry said, taking out his cigar from it's wooden box and lit it up. "Want one?"

"No thanks, I do not smoke" I told him.

"You used to smoke two whole packets a day when I met you" Dmitry said, laughing. "What changed you?"

"Sara, she turned my whole life around" I told him, with an image of her in my head. I remembered how she hated the fact that I smoke.

Flashback

I was waiting in front of Sara's University. The sun was set an hour ago and the skies got darker. The moon lit up the whole place and made everything brighter. I leaned back on my car with a cigarette between my lips. It was spring and I wore my denim jeans and a Dolce & Gabbana t-shirt with a picture of Al Pacino on it. The Godfather is and will always be one of my favourite movies.

I saw a beautiful woman walking my way with a big grin on her face. She was wearing her dress that was just below her knees and sandals with a handbag hanged on her neck and a scarf around her neck. Her hair was tied up in a loose bun and a couple of strands fell out from the sides.

She had no make up on. Well, she outlined her water line with a pencil liner and had a natural-colored lipstick on. She wore the bracelet I got her last week for her birthday.

"Mi7sen Mi7sen guess what!" she said as she stood in front of me on her tip toes. She was still grinning and she wouldn't stop.

"What?" I said, chuckling at her behaviour.

"I passed my midterm and I got an A-" she said, hugging me. "I'm finally done with this subject!"

I hugged her small body back and kissed the crown of her head.

"Wait, didn't you tell me that our relationship has boundaries and I'm not supposed to 'touch' you?" I said, chuckling.

"Technically, I only hugged you and you're the one who kissed me," she said, punching my stomach playfully.

"and it will be the last time because I know you well and I know you regret hugging me because you 'weren't raised like this'," I told her.

I opened the door for her and she entered. I went to the other side and got into the car and started it.

My cigarette was still between my teeth and I kept smoking the whole time. I noticed that Sara covered her nose with her scarf and looked the other way. I saw her eyes and I could tell she was frowning.

"Sara?" I said. She didn't answer me.

"Sara?" I said, again. It's probably because I'm smoking in front of her.

"Stop the car I need to go to buy something," she said, gathering her things.

"I'll come with you, I don't have anything to do. I cleared my schedule today so I can spend the whole day with you," I told her.

"No," she said. "I want to go alone,"

I stopped the car but kept it locked.

"Open the doors," she whispered.

"Not until you tell me what's wrong" I told her. I knew that she was bothered with me smoking, I just wanted her to say it out loud.

"Nothing's wrong," she said. "I just forgot to do some things and I don't have time so may you please open the door?"

I stayed there and kept staring at her. She looked the other way, but this time her scarf wasn't around her nose and mouth. I took another puff and blew it on her face.

Her emotions changed and her face turned red.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" she shouted. "I don't stand that thing you have dangling between your lips. I do not want to talk to you from now on and if you want to talk to me, you better get rid of all your cigarettes and stop smoking because if you don't, then sorry Mi7sen, but we will be over"

I unlocked the door and she walked away from the car. I couldn't leave her to walk alone back to her apartment so I parked my car in the first parking spot I got and followed her.

I was about ten meters behind her. She was scared from the streets at night. Every time someone got near her, she would jump back and shake her head. Typical scaredy-cat Sara.

To my surprise, I saw her stop and talk to a guy. Her grin was back on her pretty face and he was smiling too. I got closer and tried to ease drop on their conversation.

"Sara, what are you doing here walking alone in the streets at night?" Mystery guy asked.

"I'm on my way home," she replied.

"You just texted me and told me that Mi7sen was dropping you off home," Mystery guy said.

Oh look, he knows my name...

"Yeah but we had a stupid fight and I think everything's going to get better tomorrow," she said. "Wait, when did you get here! You didn't tell me you're coming to visit!"

"I just got here an hour ago," he said. "Since Mi7sen and you are currently not talking to each other, this means I get to have you all alone tonight"

"Yes you do, I'm all yours S3oud, I'm all your's for the night" she said, laughing. "Where do you wanna go?"

*S3oud is Sara's brother for those who forgot, read the last part of Winter Schemes 13 and the first part of Winter Schemes 14 so you know exactly who he is just to refresh your memory*

He had his arms around her and she leaned on him while they walked back. I stopped and stared at them until they were no longer visible. I walked back to my car and went back home. I was so furious because Sara was seeing another guy behind my back.

I decided that I should ignore Sara the whole week until she decides to tell me the truth.

Its been a week and I still didn't talk to Sara. I smoked triple the packets I used to smoke. I wanted to make her jealous in a way but I didn't know what to do or how to do it.

Another week passed and I ignored every call and text from Sara. I didn't want to talk to her. One day, I was walking back home from the super market with a friend of mine from University. She was a family friend and I've known her for a long time.

I saw Sara walking with the same guy. She saw me from afar and walked faster in my direction.

"Why weren't you answering any of my calls and text?" she asked. Mystery guy kept his distance.

"Why should I? We're over Sara," I told her and grabbed my friend's hands just to make her feel the same way she made me feel.

I continued walking and heard Sara crying in the same time. I looked back and saw her crying in his arms. She even hugs him in front of me.

My friend actually shouted at me for leaving Sara. She told me that Sara was the best thing that ever happened to me and I shouldn't have let her go. She even stopped talking to me and she refused to talk to me unless I get back with Sara.

It's been three months and I haven't seen Sara since that day. I erased her number from my mobile and never talked to her.

One day I was walking back home and someone grabbed me and pinned me to the wall. It was the guy Sara was with.

"Why the hell did you break up with Sara? You knew that she wanted the best for you and she wanted you to quit smoking because it wasn't good for your health so you picked cigarettes over Sara?" he said. "and you even had a new girlfriend the second you broke up with her?"

"I broke up with her because she was with you man, she hugged you and she grabbed your hand when you walked her back home and you spent the night at her apartment, I didn't pick cigarettes over her, she did this to herself by sneaking behind my back with another man," I pushed him off.

"Wait, you thought I was with her the whole time you guys were dating?" he said, smiling.

"Yeah, what are you smiling about?" I told him, annoyed.

"Just for your information, Sara's my sister, so it isn't wrong to sleep at my sister's apartment while I find one for myself," he said.

"W-what?" I asked, surprised.

"Man, you made the worst mistake ever," he said and walked away.

I had to find Sara but I didn't know how. I kept calling her but she never answered. I knew her number by heart so it didn't really matter if it was saved in my phone or not.

I went to her apartment and rang her doorbell but no one answered. Where could she be at this time of day? Is something wrong with her? I asked myself.
